Yeah, I agree a car would have been better. What would have been even better is just buying plane tickets, not very expensive apparently - much cheaper than EuroRail is when you take into account you have to pay extra for sleeping cars.

Also, a lot of the EuroRail trains sucked a$$ - they had a few really nice ones and the rest were like 20 years old and on their last legs.

I'd really like to go back and check out England/Wales/Ireland/Scotland - of all the people I met on my trip, the people from those countries were without a doubt the nicest/hilarious/most entertaining pepole. Plus it'd be sweet to go check out some EPL action live and in person
