Peppe plays some junky hands. He has bet weak into me on the flop twice and called a pot raise with top and bottom once and just top pair the other time. He won both times (I had AA first hand and a draw the other). I guess he's a block-betting calling station.
Carsus seems very loose aggro and has been caught bluffing a few times and betting hands like top pair or two-pair on a straight board. My first hand at the table I posted in CO and got KKxxds, he limp called my raise. Flop came KQx with a flush draw, shorty bet out, he raised and pushed into my re-raise with AJs for the nut flush and gutshot draw. He hit and stacked me but I've stacked him back after that.
Peppe has 178
Carsus has 255
I've got JJTTs (hearts) UTG+1. Peppe is UTG and Carsus is in MP.
Peppe raises to 3. I re-raise pot to 11.50 and it is folded to Carsus who re-raises to 24, Peppe calls.
I re-raised to start building the pot in position against my target Peppe. I figure I need to re-raise him if I want to be able to stack him post flop since he's got almost a double stack. I'm fairly sure he will put me on AA with my re-raise so if an A flops I can most likely take it down, and if a J or T flops without an A he'll be likely to call me down with a pair or two. Obviously Carsus' re-raise throws a monkey wrench in the machinery. I put him on AA obviously.
Flop comes:
Peppe checks, I check and Carsus bets 27. Peppe calls.
Looks like Carsus isn't too in love with his hand, judging by how he played the nut flush draw last time I would think he doesn't have it this time. Missed AA seems most likely. Could he really be betting this weak with KK when the board is so draw heavy? Seems doubtful. Peppe should have the flush or straight draw.
I check/raise pot to 182.50. Carsus call, peppe calls all-in.
Turn is the
. I push my last 36.45 in, Carsus calls.
Final pot is 649.84 which is the biggest one I've played so far on this site.
