cj, thanks for the response!!
in a limited sample, i am finding that i have more early exits, which is ok as it also gives me the chance for much bigger stack.
previously in smaller MTT's,. i was playing more harrington TAG but i don't think it gives you enough juice and many of my more recent results were running on fumes near the bubble.
with arnold's strategy, with a little luck and you have one of the biggest stacks at the table. iwth moderate luck, you're doing ok....mediocre luck and you're gone, whereas with harrington you can probably still hang around (although i question what that's worth)
adding this in (might not flow).... one key difference between most strategies and ptf is this.... whereas (i think) arnold says play 88-99 really hard, others will want you to get away from it if you put in a raise and someone comes over the top for all your chips (assuming M of 10). curious if you agree or not
to reiterate too, i don't agree with everything in PTF, and i have no association with arnold and his crew. just like the book and the style (when customized for yourself)
