Hand #1- Looks good.

Hand #2- Bet the turn for about $13. I like the flop call, but when he checks the turn, make a bet. Don't slowplay TP to death. This guy likes to play small pots, so his PF minraise is almost meaningless to me. It's his M.O. He does this with A2s, probably.

On hand 1 I would bet the turn at about 9 dollars. He could be on a straight draw and you should make him pay.

I would raise hand 2 on the flop, or at least bet the turn out like Donk said. Maybe he is willing to alot of chips in with a terrible kicker.

I think your way of playing the hands is perfectly valid, using position to keep the pot under control with a one-pair hand. Hand #1 is perfect, hand #2 I would actually fold preflop.
