Villan is on a couple of my tables, so I figured him for a regular.

How the hell do I go about playing the rest of the hand after his flop raise. Is a reraise and fold to a push a better line? What if he flat calls that reraise, wtf am I doing on the turn?

Obv there are a lot of draws out there he could have on the flop and turn.

Anyone think how I played it is ok? Or basically I am the donk of all donks.

He is 25/21 over 100 hands, I was running prolly aound 24/16 or so at the time.

If there was an absolutley correct way to play this hand, poker would be very easy.

There is no good answer for this hand.

Against an aggressive player I will take the same line as you sometimes.

I think you have to know if the button ever re-raises with air as a tester and how strongly he plays overpairs.

That flop looks like it could have missed you so a re-raise with air is possible from any decent player (he figures 2/3 of the time you missed don't have an overpair and are just making a regulation CB).

The only way you want to get all-in here with him is if he is bad enough to get it all in with QQ-99 overpair to board (or an ace flush draw).

For that reason I like the re-raise on the flop much better than your line -especially as you seem to be planning a check raise all in on the turn.

If he pushes then you can let go with a clear conscience unless he is a total donk.

Your way may be best if he is an inveterate bluffer I guess

Well, it's a bit harder then, he seems to be a good regular with these stats and this stack. I would probably 3 bet flop, as I don't like when my CB get raised.

On turn 8 is a bad card, as a very likely draw hit. I doubt that I would be able to fold though. Mostly I would play the same as you, with a very good read I could lay it down.

I just saw your graph in your journal... I'm thinkin a fold was good...

I woulda 3bet the flop and vomited if he pushed... Too many cards on the turn will have you second guessing...

Yeah I lost...he had and I was drawing dead when I got all my money in. Seems to be how I roll lately.
