Due to the influx of new posters, the nlhe hand analysis topic is being flooded with posts. does anyone else think its time to sort them into sub groups by stakes ( i.e low, medium and high)?

We've talked about it in the Mod section... I'll bring it up again...

we did have a really good review of this a couple of months back in the mod section - the feeling was that keeping the NL section together was the best solution for the 'morale' and to keep with the ethos of the site (though admittedley MVP didn't use the word 'ethos')

IF PEOPLE (ESP NEW POSTERS WHOSE STAKES THE FORUM DOESN'T KNOW) WOULD LABEL THEIR POSTS PROPERLY THEN THERE WOULD BE NO ISSUE!

I like the reasoning for keeping all NL posts in one forum. The elitist machismo attitude that is prevalent at other forums is something to be wary of.

A clear posting guideline to put stakes and FR/SH in the title would be sufficient in my opinion. If a new poster doesn't follow the guideline I am sure a friendly (standardised) PM from a mod and a quick edit of the post will work.

However I slightly disagree with Excession that this would 'especially' apply to new posters. In order for it to work I think it needs to be applied consistently and 'especially' by forum regulars. If all the regulars were to post in a standardised manner (for example "$100 FR - AA on a monotone flop" OR "0.5/1 FR - AA on a monotone flop") I am sure newer posters would follow suit.

As a positive side effect it would also make the forum look all structured and nice.
