Saturday night I don't bluff, I play very tight, just nutpeddling. People are willing to draw thin against you, so no point in fancy moves. Now drawing thin is one thing, but what this particular opponent was thinking is beyond me...
I get AA33 in the SB and call a small raise after half the table did. Flop: A97r. Button pots, I checkraise pot. Button calls without hesistation. Turn: 4. I pot, button instantly calls. River: 2, no flush possible. I check-call, only to see villain flip over A935.
Two hands later, I get QQ46ds and raise pot in LP. Villain from previous hand calls. Flop comes Q26 rainbow. Villain leads for 1/2 pot, I raise pot, villain calls, again without a shred of hesitation. Turn: 3. Villain leads again for $5, I pot again, villain calls. River:5, still rainbow. Villain puts me allin, I call with second straight, villain flips over KK74
After these hands I decided that I really prefer losing my stack when I have top set against middle set and my opponent hits quads on the river. That's the kind of pain I've learned to enjoy. But this?? Can anyone pull this ninjastar from my eye plz?
