I'm trying to open up my PF raising a bit and figured SC's was the next best place to go after high PP and AK in LP.

1 EP limper to me in CO and I raise to 5x with [8d]. Folds to limper who calls.

Flop is rainbow giving me an OESD. Checked to me and my 2/3-3/4 pot CB takes it down.

So am I crazy for even raising these preflop at Tribeca NL $4?

How low will you go on these? 45? 23? How late position do you need to be before you'll consider 1-gaps? 2-gaps, if at all?

With the right read on the limper, I would think the cards probably don't matter. Some players will fold to your CB if they don't hook up with the flop hard. At FR you may have a hard time compared to 6max tables.

Is there any point to raising SCs at $4 NL FR? Probably not. I never played $4 NL but at $2 NL the players are SO terrible and make so many mistakes postflop that I rarely want to push people out of the pot preflop. Anything besides AA-JJ and AK is best limped preflop at the micro limits IMO. What you really want is implied odds to catch a big hand, because you can get paid big by people who absolutely positively will not fold top pair.

ah lol - I didn't realise Beca went as low as 2c/4c but I see that it does..

trust me - you won't find Beca players folding to PFR's all the way up to $200 NL tables
