Bk -You're going to pay him off on hand 3 but not in hand 2?
I'd rather see a push in hand 2 than call a push in hand 3. In hand 3, I raise (he likely has a pair less than the Js). However I would fold to a push unless villain is a maniac.

Hand #1) What're you afraid of in hand other than 44? Good players don't smooth call with JTs from the BB (least I don't think they do?) and they 3-bet with JJ or TT, so stack off as necessary.
Hand #2) I'm more inclined to fold here than hand #1.
Hand #3) Call and re-evaluate turn.

good point, but i still probably call because people do stupid stuff in blind battles. i think you see like Q8 or something here pretty frequently.
i probably try to see a showdown though, as opposed to getting AI.
