Anyway, a proper poker post ensues.

I'm finally back to 12-tabling comfortably. I had dropped back to 8 for a while but decided to give 12 another go tonight and it went very well. I'm continuing to open up my game and the last 10k or so hands i'm at 21/16.

I just finished another fairly lengthy session, 4hrs 11mins and made $860.36. I'm veeeeeeery pleased with this considering the shitty luck I had. KK < AQ AIPF, AK < AQs, AQ < AJs, etc.

I had two regulars at my table and realised tonight that they were actually pretty bad. Previously i'd have (if possible) tried to avoid having them at my tables but now I welcome them.

Okay so the villian in all these next hands is "manub" one of the regulars from above. He playes 12 tables and is plays ALL the time. I really think he hates me and wants to kill me and burn my grave.







He's yet to win any kind of significant pot off me.

Anyway, i'm about 8k/20k of the way as far as number of hands played goes. Running at 6.10 PTBB/100.

Hand 3. Why did you check the flop? Why did you check the turn? I am talking about hand 3 vs. manub.

If Manub hates you, he hasn't said anything about it yet. But he did post a hand from today's session:

Alex - In hand 3 I checked the flop because i'd been 3betting him pretty relentlessly and I was sure he would look me up with any pair with a good chance he'd CR as a bluff (see his 44 vs KQ hand) as he'd done that before. Once the turn hit and he checked again, I knew he didn't have much but since my range contains so many hands with an A in them, he would probably fold to a bet. I'd be more likely to bet this turn if I had a hand like KQ. Both checks are the reason he payed me off on the river.

I love it that the French have to say things like

"Et puis si il retourne AT , that's poker !"

and
"ou alors il était sur un flush draw + pair? "

and my favourite:
"les nuts"

I actually think he played the flop/turn terribly.
