I spend aproximately 2 hrs per day studing poker in one way or another. I have done so most every day for a year. One of the best books I have read is Tao of Poker. It cost like 10 bucks. I highly recommend it. I have no doubt you will recoup this money 100 fold or more over the course of your poker career by reading and applying what you learn in this book. I'm actually re-reading it (well the sections I highlighted) again for the 10th time or so. I'm also typing entries into my poker journal/study guide/ learing and self improvement manual. It is not a book on strategy, odds, etc like most of the books out there. If you only pick up 1 or 2 tips from this book (and you will pick up many more) it is still worth the price.
