Flopped the nuts, but can I bet or c/r this river? (NL50 FR)

MP1 is brand new, an unknown. MP2 is 30/6/19 after 95 hands. I haven't really even noticed him outside of his stats.

ME $48.20 after posting
MP1 $31.30
MP2 $40.15

BB [Ad][Jd]
UTG+1 limps, MP1 limps, MP2 limps, Button limps, SB calls, I check.
[9d][3d][Td] Pot $3
SB checks, I bet $1.50, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button folds, SB folds
[As] Pot $7.50
I bet $3, MP1 calls, MP2 calls
[9c] Pot $16.50
I check, MP1 checks, MP2 bets $5

My thought process here is that there are 6 players on the flop. I figure there is a decent chance that someone has a set and since there was no PFR, I don't want it to get checked around and give the set a free shot. I figure if I bet, someone may put me on a draw and raise too. I gave them another chance to raise me on the turn, but no takers. I was kind of shocked that both still came along. What could they have? After MP1 checks the river, can I put MP2 on anything, but a boat? But again, why would he not raise prior unless he was pretty sure I had the flush already?

I lead the flop [edit: meant "river" obviously oops]. That will get called by a lot of hands you beat. A checkraise will fold almost everything you bet, and get reraised by the boats.

But most of the time you are good here. People are calling you light on the flop and turn because they're not convinced you have anything. Also of course they're calling if they also flopped a flush.

If I checked here then yes I CR. I only worry about what to do when they push ... if they push. I think they will do that very rarely at full ring, and never without a boat or a flush. At that point it's up to you to decide what kind of moron they are: a moron who flat called with a set, or a moron who thinks his flush is good on a paired board.

dude they'll call with anything cause you're betting like you're afraid of the dark.

i mean...really. 1/2 pot flop, less than 1/2 pot turn.....and checking the river? your line looks more like [Kd][Qc] than the nut flush.

i would pot the flop. 3/4 pot the turn. and pound the river.

So you were both slowplaying it actually till the river then got scared of a boat. I agree with ua1176, you should bet more on flop. I would bet pot on the flop and if anyone would call then try to Check-Raise turn because i think you can get more value like that out of two pairs and sets especially with an aggressive opponent. The A on turn is a pretty good card for you if opponents have two pair or a set because I think it would look like you got a pair+FD with smth like [Ad][Kc] and I have seen many times how villains get stacked like this with two pairs or sets.

That's a good point Roy. I really didn't consider it slow playing as much as "massaging the pot". Your turn point is a good one though.

6 max pot flop, pot turn, valuebet river, don't give someone a chance to decide their hand is no longer good by checkraising or 3-betting...And raise that weak river bet.
