I would reallly like to know if there is any back story to Ed's decision to quit posting on 2+2 and stop editing the monthly magazine. It seemed very abrupt.

i'm guessing that the new automated tables are going to change things, too.
first, i think the sucky nlhe players will be able to play sngs to reduce the bleeding. sngs will become more viable if you don't need dealers.
second, i think the automated tables will allow for a lot more HU play (imo, the best part of these machines), so that will also spur on the nlhe and hu sng type of play.
lhe just doesn't have the action that the real action junkies want. it's profitable for patient players and it's a way to guarantee a slow bleed of funds for bad players, but it's just not that much fun for your average moron.
