SB in this hand is 56/18/2.22 over 275 hands, seems to be a definite LAG.
No reads on UTG, was new to the table.

I was running 30/16/2.5. I was almost double stacked ($375), SB covered, UTG had $178.

Preflop, UTG raises standard to $7, I called with 5[c] 8[c] on the CO, and villian calls in SB.

3 way action to the flop ($23) 3[h] 9[c] 4[c]

UTG bet's the pot and at this point I'm pretty sure he has a big hand but I picked up a nice little draw here so I pause for a while and call. Villian in the SB pauses for even longer and calls as well.

Turn ($92) J[c] Gin.

SB checks pretty quickly, UTG slows down and checks...

your read talks about the SB but the guy I think I should be worried about initially is UTG.

he is raising UTG so he probably has a real hand.

I don't think I call a PF raise from someone with no read who is raising UTG with a hand like 5[c] 8[c]

so

1. fold preflop
2. as played. you have to bet this but after the flop I am extremely worried about the SB smooth calling two raises and a flop bet. He probably has a set here or maybe a bigger flush so I would be very worried about my hand here actually. I bet $75 on the turn and I am more than happy to take it down here without a fight.

heh, I said nice "little" draw... referring to the small flush draw.

I was confident UTG had a big pair that I had outs on now, but the SB's play was a little sketchy, I agree.

Now that you got this far you have only one choice. Make a big bet because UTG may have a big and you cant let him hit another one cheaply.

If SB has a higher flush draw...well...that'll teach you to play 85s to a raise.
