But at the same time, does a typical donk have the cojones to bet pot in this situation without the straight?

Limpers: I RAISE!!! Build the pot baby! And no one will put you on a set if you hit. You also gain the EV from successful CBs, or unsuccessful ones that turn a set and you stack em.

seems like if someone was paying attention they could put you on a hand by your bet size?
