More times than not though, whenna mizor fires a weak lead at you, you can takeim down, and i figured i hadda OE so in the even that i couldnt takeim down, i had some outs and whatnot...i hate the mizors-- figured i had to fire the last one here cuz its not like im winnin it if i dont anyway, right?

I think in spite of the fact that i got pwned in this pot, i didnt play it too too bad- my read on mizor was very average semi-TAGgish player... But tables read on me was that i was a mizors mizors mizor because id been tangling with this other guy and called him down with kinghigh and acehigh and shit like that, so thats an argument against..

I'm fine with the first two barrels, i'm not so sure about the third though. Sometimes you just gotta accept you're done. Once he calls the turn, whats he going to fold on the river? 88-JJ maybe but if you image is what it usually is and the pot is reasonable sized, he's going to make that last call a lot of the time. A lot of these mizors never fold the river if they have a piece, even if that piece is something like picking up bottom pair while on a draw. Its still worth it against a lot of players, but i wouldnt consider firing the last one standard.

I noticed you pretty much always CR the flop with draws playing HU from the blinds. Any reason you dont like to lead?

CR with draws how about CRs regardless of what he has or folds. I think I agree with red here in regard to firing that river bluff particularly if your image sucked at the time. I'm definately not one to fail to run a bluff to the maximum but sometimes your image and/or the board just don't cooperate and you have to give it up in the face of continued resistance. A more daring bluff is to wait until the turn to CR but then you almost have to fire the river regardless.

Piers, i mentioned leading the flop with draws because you dont need as much fold equity as with other hands, and i've found leading the flop often gives you the option of drawing cheaply instead. An added benefit is that i often feel i get better information from his actions following my flop bet than with a flop cr. I'm not saying its my standard play, but its a good way to mix it up without giving up a lot.

Sample sequence: I lead flop. Doesnt matter if he raises my bet or not, I check the turn if i dont hit the draw. If he checks behind ive seen the river card for at most two small bets. If he bets, i have the option of the almighty turn raise bluff.

i think i've mentioned this to you before, but you manage to develop a great lagtard image, and then you expect to blow people off hands. it's very possible villain had a great read and realized that he shouldn't fold any pair against you until he sees you actually showing down hands.

once you create the image, show them something and get paid off.

i realize that you have to maintain the image, but that's a gear thing. i imagine that you do actually change gears when you're playing your a-game, but based on your read of the tables read of you, your aggression was misplaced in this hand, imo.
