Though of course, his play is rewarded.
Tribeca 100NL 6 max.
Both Villain and I have right around a full stack. He is running at about 45/35. His play is really wierd. Sometimes, his PF raises are 9-10x BB. His post-flop raises seemed more normal though, but he was still a donk.
I bluffed him off a hand earlier when I checked raised him on the flop. He folded, but the short stack sitting right behind me called, so he got to see my bluff (I had pocket 5's on a QQx board. Shortie had a Queen. I didn't think Villain had one, and I was right.)
Anyways, I'm in the BB, and have . There is one limper, and villain raises to $4. I call, as does the limper.
Pot = $12.50 Flop is . I check, limper checks, Villain bets $8. I check-raise to $30. Limper folds. Villain takes a while, and calls.
Turn is a blank, the . I have just under the amount of the pot left in my stack, so I push all-in. I figured I had at least 9 flush outs, and possibly 3 ace outs.
He immediately called. And I was shocked to see that I was actually ahead, because he showed .
He called knowing that all he had was a double gutshot. It turns out he actually had 10 outs (the two non-heart 7's and 9's, the three non-heart 6's, and three 10's)
Wouldn't you know it, but the river was a ten. nh sir. nice hand.
(opinions on my play welcome too. maybe I'm the donk )
