$2/$5 NL at MGM
#1) Im playing my standard TAG game. Maybe raising a bit less after limpers because once they limp, they are callng any raise.
I open to $20 with
[Kd]. 2 callers.
Pot $80. Flop
[2s][3s]. I bet $50. A fold and then the other guy raises to $150. Effective stacks $650.
This guy calls every raise and is pretty much a calling station but will come alive when he hits. The problem I dont know if he thinks something like KQ is a big hand here. He played one hand where he limped 88. Flop was 764 with a flush draw. He check / called. Then he check raised the turn (Q) to like $200 and pushed $250 into the river A. He actually got called and won.
Mostly he would do things like call $45 preflop with T9 and then instacall $100 on a QJ4 flop even if the raiser had only anther $150 behind.
#2) 1 limper. I raise to $25 with
[Qc]. BB and the limper call.
BB ($300)..Limper and I have about $1500 each.
2 hands ago the BB limped 99 and then called $60 when the raiser had only $200. Flop was AK4 ...Raiser bet $60 and this guy check raised to $150. Raiser mucked his QQ face up and BB showed his 99. He obviously will make moves on people in wrong spots.
The limper got his stack with a huge pot. He had
[8h]. Board showed
[9c][6h][2d]. Didnt see flop action, but he called $200 all in on the turn after another caller. River was a J and his pair of Js took down a monster pot.
Back to this hand....
Pot $75. Flop
[Jc][4d]. BB leads $55, limper folds. My action?
