#1) I raise $20 with QQ UTG. SB reraises to $70. I call.

Flop AKT. He bets $75 and I fold. He had KK.
Unucky to get QQ vs KK but lucky to get that flop

#2) I raise to $25 with KK. SB calls.

Flop A88. She checks and I check behind
Turn 9. Check / check
River 2. She bets $25 and i call. She has AA.

Unlucky to get KK vs AA. Lucky shes a moron because I wouldve gotten all in preflop if she reraised me.

#3) Its 6 handed. I raise to $20 with A9. Button who is a rich guy throwing money around and has been caught in some bluffs calls.

Flop AQT. I check / call his $20 bet
Turn 4. I check / call $25
River 7. I check call $75. He has A7. UGH!

I think that one works out the same if I bet my hand normally. I probably wouldve bet the flop and turn and check / folded the river (depending on bet size), but my bets wouldve been more than $20 and $25 so I think I lose the same but got to showdown this way.

odd...I didn't know Lee Jones had a doom switch at the MGM!

I would say mostly lucky cause you could have lost a lot more on that second hand

This what at Caesars. Ive played therw twice now and lost both times. MGM likes me.

MGM is the ish. I liked the Rio actually just because the lowest game they offer is 2/5 so you get ppl walking up the cashier saying
"I want to play"
"Limit or No Limit"
"No Limit"
"okay we got a 2/5NL game seat open"
And the fish comes and donates his usually Minimum $200 (or was it 300?) buyin in about an Hr or less. There is usually only a few games goin in the whole room though. I woudl recommend checking it out while you are there. Ceasars, Ballys & Harrah's have free shuttles to it.
