Seeing that Rolf Slotboom recently made a couple of posts, I once read somewhere that he made up a new type of game played in Europe or somewhere.

I only read it once, and this is by memory, so my apologies for completely butchering it.

Preflop betting played like limit
Flop
Discard 1
Betting is limit, but doubled like last 2 streets in holdem
Turn
Discard 1
Betting becomes pot limit
River
Betting becomes no limit

Has anyone ever played this?

It is called PotNoPine, and to tell you the truth the game is not all that new actually. Also, I have to admit the game has only been played once officially, as a tournament. Despite the fact that the casino had a record number of entrants and all players seemed to like it, when the creator of the game happened to win the event, enthusiasm dropped considerably...
