2007 YOU'RE MY BITCH:
I haven't been making very many poker updates lately because a) i've been fairly busy travelling around, b) i haven't played a whole lot and c) I don't really see the need to anymore. I'm tracking my progress in an excel sheet and atm i'm stuck in limbo between 200NL and 400NL winning at a steady pace. I want to keep this up while i'm overseas but when I get back to Aus I think i'll be making a permanent move to 2/4nl and hopefully will soon add some 3/6nl into the mix. Mostly because I want a challenge. I've hit a plataeu in my poker life where i'm basically stuck at 1/2nl and feeling content with winning $120 - $150/hr. This is great, but I want more. In 2006 I aggressively moved up in limits from 25nl to 200nl within a few months, then it took another few months to go only from 200nl to 400nl. My game has improved a lot but I know there is a lot more room for improvement and I think I will improve the most if i'm challenging myself by moving up. I will play better opponents, need to study more in order to beat the games for a nice winrate, and i'll hopefully find poker more fun and interesting again.
Poker is silly.
It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
