Villain in this hand is the typical passive calling station, we had a hand just before where I raised with TT in MP, he calls in SB, flop is 59J rainbow, he check calls my pot bets on both flop and turn, river goes check/check, he has AJ and wins.

On to the hand:

I am dealt QQ in MP, raise to $10, only villain calls from button (I have $260 and he covers.)

Flop:

JT7 (rainbow)

Pot$ 22

I bet $20, he instacalls.

Turn: 7 (Pot $62)

I like this card since 77 is less likely and he probably is bad enough to call me down with JT still. I bet $50, he instacalls.

River: 4(blank) ($162)

I shove all in for $170 hoping he will call with AJ,KJ,QJ type of hands, ok ?

Sometimes against a calling station I prefer to define their hand by checking turn. You see, if you bet he can call you with the hands that are behind AJ, AT, etc, and monsters, but if you check he is going to bet monsters and check behind with the hands that you beat. So if you check turn you will have more information about his hand and will be more confident in your play.
Honestly, I often prefer this line (check turn), as I hate paying bad players, and by checking turn I increase my edge over them (simultanoiusly decreasing the varience).
