On the flop, it became fairly obvious to me that the BB had AA or KK, did I push too hard? Really wanted to see his entire stack in the middle here.

IMO, fine as played. he had an over pair so i wouldn't want to see any face card or A on the turn.

With position, I probably flat call his flop raise. I also take some time in doing so as if I'm struggling.

On the turn, if he checks, I'm betting weakish and doing the same on the river. If he has AA/KK it's going to be very hard for him to fold to a weakish turn bet when you could just have 88 there.

His flop bet was weak, so I will definitely raise it once next time around, it was only when he reraised that it became clear he had an overpair. Definitely should have thought and flat called that one.
