You are a regular at $3/$6. I percieve you as being very very tight. I'm not sure how you percieve me, but you are down a lot of money in hands we have played together, and I seem to stack you a lot with goofy hands. As of late you have fared better against me and are making a longterm comeback in terms of stacks won/lost between us.
We are playing 5-handed and UTG opens for $18 and I make it $70 on the button. I have $588 to start the hand and you cover. You and I both have no read on UTG.
You find KK in the SB, what do you do?
I think the coices are pretty firmly between 4-towning it and just calling. Folding against me is certainly not correct here.
If we 4-bet it, the hand is essentially over one way or the other and no more decisions will be made. Certainly if we 4 bet leess than all in and I call and the flop comes 8JQ with a whole bunch of some suit you don't have we can argue about check/folding or closing your eyes and shoving but in 90+% of scenarios we will be done with tough decisions.
Now let us play out the hand further, as if you had called. I probably put you on TT, JJ, QQ, or AK. UTG folds.
The flop is Q28 with two spades. You check and I check it back at you.
The turn is an offsuit J. You bet $84 and I make it $199.
Your play? If you fold the hand is over. If you 3 bang it the hand is over (that is to say, you have no more decisions to make no matter how I respond).
Let us now assume you call.
The river is an offsuit 4. You check and I shove. Call or fold?

Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.
