$2 / $5 NL live.....these hands are not in order so dont try to look at my stack size to see if I won or lost a hand.

#1) This hand is for a read only...Limped pot and I have [Ac][Th]. Flop is [As][4d][4c]. Someone bets $20 and I call.

Pot $65. Turn [8c]. He checks and I bet $50. He calls.
Pot $115. River [Ad]. He checks and I bet $150. he folds and shows his neighbor his cards.

Neighbor (to me).."you just caught a 2 outter"
Me......"HUH?"
Neighbor...."you had only 2 outs"
Me....."whats an out?"
Neighbor....."there were only 2 aces left and you hit one"
Me"...."No there were 3 left, unless you had one"
Neighbor...."blah, blah, blah"

#2) A few hands later......same villain limps (the same player, not the fool yacking at me). I raise to $25 with [Tc][9c]. He calls heads up.

Pot $55. Flop [Ts][9h][4s]. he checks, I bet $40. He check raises to $140. he has $200 more behind. All in now or on the turn?

#3) I changed tables because the other one was rock city. This one is action city. Read on villain in this hand...very last hand he raised $15 with A9s and got 2 callers. A caller led into a T84 flop and villain called. he then called about $60 on the turn which was a 9 and then called $300 on the river which was another T. He won the hand.

So very next hand.....

Couple limpers and I limp [Th][9h] on the button.

Pot $25. Flop [Ah][4c][6h]. Checked to me and I bet $20. Folded back to villain who is directly on my right and he calls.

Pot $65. Turn [4h]. He checks. I bet $40. He check raises to $140. I have about $1000 and he covers. Whats my play?

#4) Couple limpers and I check [Ad][Jc] in the BB.

Pot $25. Flop [As][Qc][5c]. I check. Chick UTG bets $20. A 5/10 player who "has game" calls. I check raise to $100. UTG chick has $170 behind. 5/10 player covers my $700 or so and looks at me like Im crazy. He tilts his head to the side tryng to figure out what my bet means. Thoughts? Who prefers a check raise to try to make a flush drawer pay as oppossed to betting pot and letting him call with odds AND position?

#5) I have [Kc][Qs] in the BB and check after a few limpers.

Pot $25. Flop [Ks][8d][3c]. SB checks, I check. TAG bets $20. SB calls and I call.
Pot $85. Turn [7h]. We check to TAG and he bets $40. Sb calls and I CR to $140. Thoughts? This looks like a set right? TAG and I both have more than $1000 left so I doubt hes calling with just a K and theres no way he has 2 pair. I think he has KQ or KJ. No idea what SB has ( he has about $300 left)

#6) Theres a MAJOR LAG at the table. Hes running it over. He seems to play very well post flop but hes way too much OOP. I have $1500 and he covers.

He raises to $25 UTG. He can have any 2 here. I call with [Th][9h] perfect hand to call with with these stacks but my deep stack play is very ...uh....inexperienced?

Pot $55. Flop [Ah][Td][4c]. He checks. Do you bet this? He is capable of anything including a check raise bluff here.

Ive seen him raise Q2s UTG and 3 barrell bluff
Ive seen him raise T4s and check the flop when he missed (checked around ) and then bet the turn when he picked up a flush draw.
He raised KK and played it perfectly.
As I said, hes good but i dont think he understands position. (He raised 72 from the SB after 2 limpers)

2) I like simply just putting him in here. There are a lot of cards which could come on the turn which could make this situation somewhat sticky, and you take away a lot of his fold equity he can get by shoving a sticky turn card.

3) Seems somewhat out of the ordinary for this villian to raise here, based on the first hand you posted, so I would probably call andD See what he does on the river. I think this is really dependant on what he does on the river.. whether he shoves out a value bet or overbets the pot or w/e and now you have to think back and try to figure out anything you`ve seen in the past. I dont think you can fold on the turn, but on the river if you doesnt feel right you can toss this easily.

4) Check raising certainly looks stronger in this spot, and I think in this case it would be a stronger play if UTG had a larger stack as well because you could use the fact that this player is somewhat sandwhiched between these two larger stacks. I still think check raising here is better because it diqguises your hand somewhat meaning it makes it look a stronger that it actually is. Tough spot, I dont think you could really stand a raise here.

5) I would just call the turn, and play this hand really passively and if the TAG bets again on the river, I would strongly consider folding, looks like he has you beat in this spot.

6) No I check behind, and check/call if he bets the turn trying to keep the pot small. I do think that your hand has value, but betting here can put you in a really tricky spot if he raises you. Better to keep it small, and not give him any information on the flop. Your value wont come from betting the flop, but extracting money from him when the LAG in him insists on bluffing either the turn or river.

"#3 pencils and quadrille pads."
- Seymoure Cray (1925-1996) when asked what CAD tools he used to design the Cray I supercomputer; he also recommended using the back side of the pages so that the grid lines were not so dominant.

"Interesting - I use a Mac to help me design the next Cray."

#7) I forgot this one. 2 limpers, then a guy raises $25. I thohght about calling on the button with [5h][3h] but the raiser was tight enough that I didnt think I could extract that much even if I hit a big flop. I folded and UTG called.

Flop came [6h][4h][2h]

Caller led out and raiser called.
Turn was the [Jh]. Raiser had [Kh][Ks]. UGH!!!

Are these hands that boring or is there just too many of them?

#2) I reraised all in but I think maybe since Im in position, just calling is better. He folded and whispered to the neighbor that he had AT.

#3) I called the check raise. After the river, the final board was [Ah][4c][6h][4h][Js]. He bet $300. I instacalled and he had J6 and proudly tabled his 2 pair.

#4) After my CR, UTG reraised all in. The other guy folded. I called the last $70. The turn and river bricked out and she mucked. She said she didnt have an ace but wouldnt say what she had.

#5) They both folded to my CR.

#6) I bet $40 after he checked. He check raised to $140. I thought about it and was 75% sure I was ahead but folded anyway. I just didnt want to pay a huge pot in that spot. He showed [Tc][7c].

#5) If you told me he had exactly KQ or KJ, why not make him fold now? Hes tight enough that hes not putting any more money in if he has KJ once the turn gets called, and if i can make him fold KQ instead of splitting with him, thats a win also.

In #6, where you have middle pair, I usually like a bet after his check because you don't want a KJ or Q a freebie.

However, he's wacko in the sense he can CR bluff.

He's wacko in the sense he can have any two so a KJ o Q holding is less likely since he's playing lots of non-premium hands.

Therefore, I check.
