Villian's Jason Strasser. I was playing a solid TAG game, but history tells me that Strassa doesn't have much respect for my game- translation: I've had my share of marginal outdraws, suckouts and coolers against him.

He loves to raise UTG+1 with all sorts of garbage because it's his favorite stealing seat. Last orbit he raised to $35 and I repopped him with JTs. He called. I 4/5PS'd a J-rag-rag flop and he mucked.

Anyone dumping here PF? I thought he was just letting me know that a 3-bet would be my own noose, not the I'd repop him here with 4's, but obv he doesn't know I have 4s off the deal, yada, yada, yada.

Wow! If I remeber correctly he is mostly a tournament player.

Preflop:
I like a call.

Flop:
I like a 3bet push flop here, pot is 550, you have 800 behind, so it's not too much of an overbet. I think you'll get called quite often here.

Turn:
Failed that I would lead turn to about half pot, if he has a J or a high club he'll call, or may be even push.

River: As played I like a 'block' bet of about 150 here, I really doubt that he is going to pay 500 bet here.

Off topic:
saw him vs MAtusow the other day 50/100 he lend Matusow 30k and he took it all back, Matusow going bezerk.

Donkifornication i can't help you on the hand, i think you represent something very strong by betting the river flush, AJ and possibly a boat. If he views you as solid i don't see him call, seeing the givin history he might look you up.

I would check the river against Jason.

The only reason I see to fold this pf is that he may put you pretty squarely on a PP, and you'll have a hard time getting paid for your set. Your flop lead helps with this since he raised it...but the turn was the worst card in the deck for you, so I doubt he called the river.
