So I guess the normal play is to reraise here in the SB right? I was hoping to milk this guy a little bit, and was dismayed when the BB guy also called the PFR. How bad is just calling here, and how would you proceed? Is the line I took postflop pretty standard?

Guy opens first to act, I give him credit for a hand worth calling a re-raise up to $2.75, at least. Can he fold for another $2 what he'd call for $1.75 more? How about another $2.50? A call isn't bad, but I'm leading the flop for $2+.

The BB's not the person that I want betting, but chances are that we still have the best and if not, we got outs and $6 in the pot to go after. Hit the gas. Bump it up to $10 and call a push. If he calls, shove the turn.

As played on the flop, pot the turn so you can shove the river. We don't wanna give him implied odds to hit the , not to mention a free river where the only time he has to put money in the middle is when he coolers us.

After he bets the $5 on the turn, yeah, shove him. But you made this hand more complicating than it should've been.
