I've had 2 poor days now and I would like opinions on a couple of hands please. I feel like i've been playing the same as normal, just things haven't been working out for me. I'll explain my thoughts on these hands too. Please let me know if you would play them differently and if there is anything wrong with my thought process.
Hand 1: The opponent has been playing a 26/16 game with 3.5 aggression factor, although not over many hands. I haven't been playing that long and haven't seen anything particularly interesting happen with him.
Here I make a standard raise OTB with QJ and flop an open-ended straight draw. I make a standard C-bet and he calls. When he checks to me again on the turn, how would you play? My thoughts were that I didn't think he was that strong as I would expect him to check-raise the flop with something like AT or a set. I thought if I bet again he would probably fold and I also have quite a few outs (with the Q and J being possible outs too). I thought a bet was in order here. Thoughts?

Hand 2: Another situation I have trouble with. I open-raise OTB with K9 and the SB calls. Flop is 982 with two hearts and he bets into me. He was 35/10 with an infinite aggression factor, albeit over a small sample size.
Here I decided to raise. Sometimes I would just call here and see what he does on the turn but I wanted to protect my hand if he had a straight draw / flush draw and he might be betting with a worse pair (or 9 with weaker kicker) thinking I would have overcards. He then re-pops me and I think I have to fold.
A further question here would be: If I flat call his flop bet, a safe card comes on the turn, and he continues to bet into me on the turn, what would you do? I have trouble in spots like this because if I call on the flop to see what they do on the turn, they often will bet into me and i'm unsure of what to do.
