Well 20 sessions and 16 wins. Pretty strong today as I beat 510, 12, 12 short handed, 25 NL, 10 NL, Omaha H/L and should have placed in this damn FPP tourny at Tropics if I had any luck at all. Finished 11 out of 35 and had about 4 people all in preflop or on the flop with the best hand and lost every damn one of them but oh well didn't cost me anything just frustrating.

Just a tough god damn day today. All in all up about 30.00 but just a frustrating run at 510 were the first damn hand I am dealt Kk and get it rammed up me by 86 on a river two pair. Was probably down 6 or 700 before I got the ship righted and started mizing as Mecos would say a little myself. Time for a break. Certainly feel good about getting in 1700 or so hands today. Need to do that daily.

Mizing hand for the day, or better yet, Bet it Like You Got It and that old two outer just might get there

Didn't get much work done today as I woke up late and then my computer power source was shot. Took it back to the computer store where they tell me the power source is only warrantied for 48 hours. Quite a guarantee there. So I play the 25.00 or so dollars and come home. Ended up watching two movies with the woman, Ghost of the Needle and Constantine. Glad they only cost me about 0.50 a piece as neither one was much good.

A synopsis of my evening. I feel fortunate to be down only about 300 with some of the beatings I have taken with my big pairs. Seems like everytime I step up into the 1020 I get hammered by bullshit.

The problem that MK had was that I was thinking 2,3 or possibly 4 levels above (I don't know but it was pretty lofty analysis) what he was thinking on this hand. Where he got in deep trouble was betting out on the 4 straight after the gutter ball hit, now what kind of hand could he have that called a powerful player like myselfs MP raise and then CR me on the flop  Well after Data like multianalysis nothing computed as far as a hand with a 10 in it except the outside chance of 1010 and I could easily rule this out because MK was just thinking enough to get himself in trouble here because he would have thought, Ahhh, I hit my gut shot here, Piers will never think I would have a ten here after my flop CR so I will now CR his ass again as I am sure he isn't scared of my having hit the straight but instead he bet out which was obvious weakness. See I had already covered his thinking that was 2 to 3 levels below mine so it was clearly obvious that he didn't have the straight and probably was trying to mize me with some kind of backdoor flush draw which I wasn't having any of so I made him pay the maximum for his foolishness. And well I could have checked the river out of kindness but being a trusty follower of Sun Tzu I thought fuck that I am going to take every last cent, well except that extra 0.50 he had there, because what the hell he was doing trying to backdoor a flush against a world renown limit player like myself and the fact that I had already donated quite a bit to him in the 1020 short handed game

Well went to the store to get a supply of beverages to get a little lubricated for tonights HORSE tourny. Going to try and avenge that 2nd place finish last week.

Contemplating on getting another monitor so I can 10 table. I don't think it will be much problem. I would like to be able to use three party skins while doing so so hopefully they don't go through with cutting everyone down to one account across all skins. If so I guess I will use Stars and perhaps UB to fill the gap.

Still planning on my trip to the US in late June or early July. Still got alot of beaurocratic shit to take care of in regard to getting my daughters passport and my wife's new VISA but hopefully all of that will get done in the next couple of weeks. I've contacted several old friends that have kids also and hopefully I'll be able to see them all while criss crossing the states. Should be alot of fun. Still have to purchase a laptop so I can work while traveling but haven't decided on which one to get.

After a little over 1200 hands of 510 I find myself ahead 8.06  Just couldn't really manufacture a good run in the positive direction. Everytime I got something going I would hit a mouse breaker hand. On a good note though my big pocket pairs were virtually all holding up with one big hand excepion where KK got cracked by Q3o. AA: 4/4 KK: 8/9 QQ: 5/5 1010: 1/1 Can't argue too much with those numbers.

The guy in this hand, the highlight of my evening, had a VIP of 91%. I played with him nearly 90 hands and during that time he actually left winner +7.00 of which alot came from me when he cracked my KK with Q3o in a +200 pot. But this hand was a different story and I don't know quite what he was thinking but thanks none the less.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with [Kd], [Qc].
Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (10.40 SB) [Ah], [Jc], [Th] (5 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP3 raises, CO folds, BB folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP3 caps, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (11.20 BB) [9s] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 folds, MP3 calls.

River: (18.20 BB) [4d] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 20.20 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Kd Qc (straight, ace high).
MP3 has 5c Qs (high card, ace).
Outcome: Hero wins 20.20 BB.

you raised UTG with KQoff? That's against your own rules.

I am a little bit looser than what I advise others to be at certain times. Sometimes I dump KQo in EP, sometimes I raise with it and every once in a while I just call. With the one guy at the table calling virtually everything I was trying to get it heads up with what was probably the best hand but got a slew of callers which was alright as well in case I hit a big hand. At times with folks like him at the table way overplaying hands like Q high  it is advantageous to see "alot" more flops when he is in, which is virtually every hand. Everytime he came in in EP and if got folded to me I generally entered the pot with a WIDE variety of hands hoping to catch big and punish him. Alot of folks advocate staying out of a maniacs way and waiting for very strong hands to isolate him but I generally like to mix it up with them particularly when I have position.

Played some more 510 and succeeded in dropping 240 or so in a 40 minute span so I jumped up to 1020 for another go and remarkably finished up 140 or so even after taking a couple of god awful beats. One guy caps if off from BB with JJ, I have AA and it's three handed. OF course the flop brings a J and two low cards and I mange to put in a few bets on the turn after just calling the flop. The other hand wasn't nothing to major except both fuckers hit the case 6 although they had their other kicker outs as well but it sucked none the less. There are some massive fish (VIPS>60%) at the 1020 tables at night but I just can't manage to get on a good run against them. That has to change.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with [Ac], [Qs].
3 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 4 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) [6c], [Qh], [Jc] (3 players)
MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) [6d] (3 players)
MP1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

River: (11.25 BB) [8h] (3 players)
MP1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

Results in white below:
MP1 has 6h 7s (three of a kind, sixes).
MP2 has 5s 6s (three of a kind, sixes).
Hero has Ac Qs (two pair, queens and sixes).
Outcome: MP1 wins 7.12 BB. MP2 wins 7.12 BB.
