Villian's solid/sensibly aggressive for a low-stakes tourney. BB's a total nit. Against this guy's stack, I always shove JJ here, but I might stop n' go TT/99/88- a lot with 77-22. How often should I be stop n' going JJ-88- like what opponent makes it more profitable? Who likes just shoving every pair here almost all the time? I get a bit confused with these in the blinds at times and I just realized that. I am capable of good ol' resteal with 69o at any time, so should I be stop n' going less?

yeah, you are right, a lot of uses for the SnG. Usually I see it down with a weaker hand like 77-99 or some unpaired hand.

I generally only use the stop and go play whenever my opponent is priced in to call my shove with whatever hand he raised with, or at least pretty close. Here you definitely have some fold equity and you don't mind it with JJ at all. If I'm going to play a hand here, I'm going to shove, but given that he's raising from EP and he's a solid player, I'm probably folding the small pairs. 99 is about the cutoff, and I'd have to think about it a bit. Probably depends on what I've really seen out of him, but closer to a fold than a shove by a small bit in a vacuum.
