I disagree with the guys who advocate checking behind the flop here. I totally agree OOP that I am totally willing to let this check through and fold to another spade. Betting this OOP is only going to get called by a better hand or at least something that has a ton of pot equity against us here and I dont want to play a big pot OOP. In position I am not as big a fan of checking behind. Betting gets you a ton more info IMO, this guys CR here is such an amount that it seems to be very rarely a draw? Someone with A
is more likely to get all their money in on the flop, so they get to see both cards and dont have to try to play the turn OOP if they miss. The CR of $75 looks like he has a made hand and wants action. Betting $25 here and folding to this guys CR costs you the smallest amount and gets you the most information.
