UTG+1 limps as does the next... i make it 10 more from the BB with 88 trying to build the pot. UTG+1 calls... next guy folds (my games are never anything like iceman's.)

I lead $30. He is new to the table... clean shaven and seems soft spoken. He makes it $50 more.

I call thinking I may have the best of it. Unlikely he's raising a jack on an unconnected rainbow flop. He may have a 4 or lower pocket. (mistake?)

I lead $75. He makes it $300 more. He's not giving off any tells.

I realize this is an obvious fold and I did fold. Still it annoys me. Did he really play the jack this fast?

Why a jack? Limp-call UTG is a new limp-reraise, I would expect QQ+ with this action and I would probably check-call, check-fold turn.
