stats and some other things
Current mood: blah
Last week's stats:
All 2/4 NL
Cash Games Count : 6
Total Amount : $1,594.19
Total Hours : 6h 30m
Average per Hour : $245.26
Wins : 6
Losses : 0
Std. Dev. (Amount) : $234.32
I didn't put in many hours...but I didn't need to, really. Was very happy with how much I was up and decided to take a much needed break.
Monday:
Today I played for an hour and 45 minutes and made $705. Yeah that's right. $705. That is crazy. Stupid. Insane. heh. I even started off losing $100 on the first hand. I alos lost a set over set. How the hell do I win anyway?
I had a very interesting suckout which is posted here:
forum/viewtopic.php?t=3359
I've looked over that hand and right now I believe my play was solid..though I'm curious as to what the people on BTP think.
Here is a big hand where I was outplayed (this hasn't happened often lately.) I give a lot of credit to my opponent..though had i now he was a LAG gambler..I might have called.
2/4 NL
i'm dealt KK UTG. I limp. couple of limpers...button (opponent) raises to $14. I reraised to $42. Only the button calls.
FLOP $90
A J 9o
I check (trying to represnt AA). Opponent bets $50. I call. (I should have check-raised or folded here. bad play kenny.)
TURN $190
A J 9 8
I check. Opponent moves in for about $300. I fold.
He shows KQo for a gutshot straight draw.
I really wanted to call..that was m first instinct...I mean..people normally don't move all-in like that. But I had a nagging feeling about AK or JJ.
Anyway, I'm not really unhappy about it. I can find much better situations to make money. My opponent beat me with his betting, fair and square.
Another note...I've decided at the end of this month, I'm going to stop posting my money figures. I know people find them interesting...but it's getting to the point where I'm feeling uncomfortable posting the money I'm bringing in. I don't want people to think that I'm trying to showoff or something.
Poker has been kind to me lately. I think my aggressive style with drawing hands is paying off big time.
