I'm such an asshole and I completely deserve everything that happened today. Last night I withdrew from Full Tilt for the 2nd time ($1k). Anyone who has read this journal will remember my disgusting losing streak that lasted a little over a month the last time I withdrew from Full Tilt. It went on until I lost almost exactly $1K. Add to this the fact that I've been arguing with them over e-mail about another matter I don't want to talk about here and of course I should have expected to get squashed if I sat down to play today.
Result in my first session since 2nd withdrawal - 104 hands
-$101.55 -195.29 BB/100
3 noteable hands
1 -
[6c] UTG at a very passive table
MP1 (36/4/9) $23.75 and I cover
I limp, MP1 raises to $2.25, CO calls, and I call
[5c][4s] Pot $7.50
I check, MP1 bets $5, CO folds, I push w/ NFD/OESD/2 overs, MP1 calls for $16.50.
MP1 has
[4h] for a set. I guess that's the kind of hand someone in MP with a 4% PFR raises. No fear, I still have a lot of outs with the OESD/NFD. Ooops, drawing dead on the turn
But that's ok because the very next hand at my other table....
2 -
[4d] OTB
MP1 (29/6/25) $33.35 and I cover
MP1 open-min-raises to $1 and I call
[6s][8h] Pot $2.75
We get it all in on the flop. He has
[5h].
Turn
River
AWESOME!!!!
And here's my tilt hand
3 -
[Qh] MP2
CO and I both have full stacks. CO is a rock (14/1/5)
I open-raise to $2 and CO calls.
[9d][6d] Pot $4.75
I figure there is very little chance he hit this flop so I bet $4. CO calls. He must have something like 88,TT,JJ or possibly 66. Can't put him on anything with a 9 with how tight he's been playing.
Pot $12.75
OK I hit top pair, I'll just make a bigger bet here and take it. $8. CO calls again. ?????
Pot $28.75
FUCK! Top 2 pair and the pot is big. I check, CO bets $17. I'm tilting so I call and he shows
[9s]
Like I said, completely my fault. I withdrew last night, I definitely should have known thsi was coming.
