Well nothing much to report on the poker front as I busted out the rest of my microroll about three weeks ago and haven't went to the trouble of refunding through western union or whatever other means might be currently available.

On the house front the closing date was supposed to be this Friday but will probably be moved back a week or so until the house is scraped and repainted. All in all things are going ok there I guess as I have cleaned up the place quite a bit and it is starting to look pretty nice.

Work on the moss project is coming along fine and I have also found quite a few very interesting bryophytes recently on some field trips.

Managed to scratch and claw my way back to a small but positive standing for the month and hopefully with this double FPP promo at Stars I can obtain Gold status relatively quickly to take advantage of a couple of the FPP bonus offers which will get me back in the ball game in decent shape.

Working pretty damn hard on the repairs of my new place the last couple of days. I hope I don't end up like most of those home repair shows I have been watching where the guy estimates he will be finished in 30 days and it ends up taking 6 months but there is a shitload of stuff to do and I am going to try my best to have it decently livable in the next 4 weeks.

Well managed to bust another mini roll 7 or 8 days ago and haven't redeposited since as I have been working like a maniac on our house during the last week. Both flanges had broken on the sides of the toilet which had resulted in water leaking for god knows how long into the sub flooring. I have been ripping up the deteriorating wood and the rest of the ugly ass vinyl flooring. Also ripped off the ugly ass vinyl around the tub/shower walls as well and what was probably the original protective wall. Started tiling the wall today (my first time doing that) and I guess I managed to get half of what I should have gotten done before the light faded out just shortly before my back would have. Alot of good stuff done and the place looks alot better but still alot of work to do over the next three weeks to try and get it up to snuff for living in.

Well my well deserved glass of whiskey is gone so time to refill that before settling down to rest my weary bones.
