Hello
Is there some general rule when to flat call or when to push the river?
Of course there isn't the one and only rule which works always - but aren't there basic things? like not pushing all in with top 2 pairs when villain minraises on river? What hand do you need to call a minraise on river at low stakes
As always I'm not running well...
How do I best learn to play poker to the showdown?
I saw someone playing successfully with around 70% VPIP and preflop raise 40% at 10$ NL FULLRING.
I thought i'd copy that line - because I can learn a lot without losing too much (already lost 3 buyins within 1000 hands though, never because of small pots but only because I thought I had the bast hand and pushed)
What would you say, stay at my limit and play my normal game or try this fancy thing til i'm a winner there?
Here is one of those 2 pair hands which still cost me so much - not really much content
I didn't play 70% vpip but something like 35/18/2.7 at fullring - gives already a lot of action 4 tabling fullring
Always bet like half pot (sometimes slightly less/more) on flop and turn as normally I'm the one who was drawing to a hand. They keep folding to my bets or they fold at turn to a half pot bet - i was really surprised to see that.
Villain was one of those many tight players.
