I played 200nl at Full Tilt for a year and I only talked to one of those guys

1forthethumb played the most hands by far and I only talked to him one time. My computer was lagging really bad and he told me to hurry the f*ck up. He was losing 1.3BB/100 in 31K hands.

I have about half the number of hands on the mariojr and full_tilting and they are both making about 13BB/100.

I just checked my database and they have NEVER sat at the same table and their stats are damn near identical. That is weird.

I have not seen 0_drunkenboxer, but that is because I don't play much anymore and it sounds like that is a new account.

This is probably going to bad for Full Tilt.

To me, the big deal about the story, more than the existence of the bots, is the unbelievably crappy response by FTP to the reports of the bots. Those accounts should have been frozen within hours or days, not months. And they should under no circumstance have been re-opened. The results of the investigation should have been made public.

Violations of T&C should not be treated so calmly, and they should not be hushed up. The whole thing smells to high heaven.

i read about a technic where one can use 2 connected computers to hide the bot program so you can't simply scan the computer where the poker software is running.

I don't see it being possible that these are anything other than bots. No way.

The instafold to a 1/10 pot bet on the river, the strange timing with obvious decisions, and so on.

Also, if you read late in the thread, all of the bots had usernames suggesting references to Pittsburgh-area sports. As did two or three people who showed up on 2+2 to defend the practice / argue they weren't bots.

It's some computer geek, obviously near Pittsburgh.

I'm sure FTP has the ability to find out where you're playing from and could confirm this. But they're being craptactular about the situation all the way around.

A review of a forum I discovered many months ago where bots are sold/traded confirms that the bot users there consider FTP the most bot friendly site on the internet.

The funniest thing about this is FTPs investigation into the matter. They asked for utility bills. WOW! That proves something. There actually is 3 guys who have an electric bill and opened an account at FTP. They couldnt possibly be cheating in any way shape or form.
