Different playing styles can be profitable in poker but its usually best suited for NL. I think you can make a good living playing tight like me or piers but it might not fit your personality. Who am I to say you can't do well playing looser? Maybe the variance is just higher (which I like to avoid) but their could be greater profit in it. Who knows? All I know is that tight is right for me and not suited for you.

Damn, I hate it when BtPers catch me in the act of playing like what my old man would call a "knucklehead." Mecos, for example. He dropped by to learn some valuable lessons on how to put forth an intimidating table image...generally involves outrageous claims to having quads, made-up liberace quotes, and singing michael jackson songs. He also got to see me....ermmmm...slightly overplay my Q7o is a rather embarassing blind-steal-gone-nowhere.

No one's ever gonna believe me again when I say my old standby, "I played well, but the cards fucked me." Heh heh heh...

I have every intention of getting back to this journal at some point. Actually, I had planned on getting back to it yesterday, but due to reasons well within my control, that didn't happen. So I'll probably start it up again next Friday...no, better yet, next Monday. Or Tuesday. I'm an incredible procrastinator, what can I say? I'm also a bit drunk.

Alright, ya fucking mothafuckin fuck-heads, it's time to get back to this motha-fuckin journal in my typical smooth, laid back fuckin fashion, al-fuckin-right?

It appears that it's been about two weeks since I've made any sort of fucking update to this bitch, so I guess we have some catchin up to do!

First off, I'd like to mention that the last month or so has been an ongoing struggle to avoid having to return to the dreaded 19th circle of hades, i.e. the gas station. My results really haven't been too bad, nor has my play...the problem is my work ethic. My back's against the wall, and yet I'm seeming to have a lotta trouble going into clutch mode. I really need to book a ton of hours to stay afloat, and yet I wind up banging out like 2-5 hours per day. That ain't gonna cut it, fuck-muffins.

How the fucking fuck did I get in this awful state!!!? I already know the answer to that question, so don't be a smart-ass. About a month and a half ago, my bankroll was at about 4500 and I was rockin out at the 5-10 tables...now my bankroll's at about 1400 and I'm stretchin it thin to hit up the 3-6's. Do I wanna play 3-6 with a little over 200 BB's? FUCK NO, YOU STUPID FUCKIN BIATCH! But I'm kinda forced to.

What really hurts is that my bankroll would be at about 2200 right now if I didn't have to make an $800 withdrawl the other day to pay for a god-damned clutch for my god-damned ass-fucking shit-mongering car.

Look, the point is that I'm kinda rambling free-verse stream-of-consciousness style right now.

Reason being that I played a good-times $45 live tourney today at the local bar. I acquitted myself rather pathetically, though I did knock out one fuckhead with a beautiful A-high river call-down. After that, it all went to shit. But at least I drank a whole lotta gin. For free. Honestly, I probably earned back about half my entrance fee in gin.

Sadly, it wasn't very good gin.

But it was free, which is better than good.

Anyway, I'm about to come to the point of this post, which is that...

Ahhhh, fuck it.
