on your KK hand, you called him! Don't show until he does! I used to do this when I had a "good" hand, but realized I was pissing away free information on my villains. Make them show you their hand when you call, and YOU muck if you are beat.

This is also why if I'm in a hand with $150, and in for $75 to the turn. If I bet the river, I'll (example) bet $70 (leaving a $5 chip behind). Many players will feel they are committed and will raise you, and you can just CALL THEM (with the $5), obligating them to show first (and you can muck if you are beat). If I put in all $75 and they call, I have to show first and they can muck. That little $5 difference is worth way more than $5 when you get to see their cards and they do not get to see yours!

While the bettor/raiser has fold equity, the caller has "see cards" equity. Add this to your poker arsenal!

You might bet getting around his "loophole" but I do think most people are goig to be annoyed by your asking to see his cards every time.

The rule that allows you to see his cards if he gets to showdown is to prevent collusion. If you keep asking to see someones cards, that is incinuation that you think he is cheating. Most people will take offense to that. Not too mention it slows down the game unnecessarily.

I think asking to see someones cards is bad form and should only be done if you suspect they are working with a partner. If someone asked to see my hand more than once, I'd probably either attempt to muck them right then so it couldn't be shown or call the floor over. I'd like to know what other people think though.

it's not like the opportunity to do this happens every hour. I only get to do it maybe once every 8 hours live, or every 2-3hours (per table) online. But I think it's a useful weapon in your poker arsenal, USE IT.

It's especially useful if you are bluffing (and don't want to show), if they come over the top you can call (to save face) and muck your rags and nobody is the wiser.
