Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as Lee, although with AQ or KQ it also really doesn't matter (hence, not looking doesn't necessarily mean QQ, but makes the call more difficult).

I really think I'd be tempted to call just for the hell of it. It's a pretty decent call if he doesnt' have QQ...

Surly I was awere that one of his cards had to be a Q, so yes, I did mean that the other card could be anything from 2 to A.

You just assumed a different handrange (which is probably more accurate since you knew the player)

If this range is accurate the call cost you about 3.5 $ making this call. That's a small price to pay for the image it generates.

I guess I agree with you; the call was good, but I don't think my previous post was wrong. It just assumed different ranges.

Learn what's a good price for advertising...that was a good price...it's not to 'protect' your 25, it's to only have to spend 85 (in which you're prolly only 'spending' maybe 40) to keep the party going.

Well if you want to get technical, I wasnt spending anything since I was getting just about exactly correct odds to call.

All I did was show him my ace. I didnt rub it in his face or anything. I never said a word to him. And yeah, he started to come around the table like he wanted to fight....until I stood up from my chair and then he changed his mind and stormed out.
