Yesterday I made it to the Final Table of a $10 Buy in tournament with 1k players and busted 8th on QQ v. AA all in preflop. That same player got dealt AA 4 times during the Final Table and all of the times he got paid big. Luck I guess....
After that I hit the tables, on 3 Tables I had nice profits, but the other one was just loose after loose after loose... The table was very nice, and so I thought to my self it should be -EV to quit that table and find another one... but when I was stuck 7 Buy ins in that sole table I just stand up.
I went through the hands I played on that table and this is what I picked up from my review:
1. AKo vs. 77 - Villain flopped a set. 87JKQ ... I Preflop Raise, Check Call ALL streets
2. AQo v. 33 - Blind war Villain flopped a set. 38Axx Sb Raise I Reraise, Flop Villain Check min Raise pot bet I push.
3. AJs v. 77 - 667A - 4handed, UTG raise But call, I make it $7.50 from BB, both call.. I CB $12 in to a $22pot..UTG calls.. I Push Turn..
4. A8s v. 22 - K27TQ -1 pre poster, folded to me I Raise BB call. CB flop, Bet turn and call min raise Push River.
5. QQ v. AA -I Raise, But 3B, BB calls, I push…
6. [As] v. [Jh] -[7h][Th][Jc][8h] - Co raise, I 3Bet from But. Flop Co check, I Bet 14.75 into a 14,75 pot Co. calls. Turn Co. check I bet $37 into a $42 pot…
After this hand I just stand up from the table... and end up my overall session loosing little bit less than 3 Buyins, but in this particular table I lost a little bit over 6 Buyins.
My Question, Should I have stand up from the table earlier, even if table was "good"?
