I played a fairly long (for me) session last night and racked up about 800-ish hands. However my VPIP was only around 24, and that's with trying to make some hands appear playable.... Now granted I really don't play exceptionally lose to begin with. But seemed like last night I just couldn't find much in the way of playable hands. Getting dealt quite a bit of xxxy hands or hands that really had nothing really working for them.

Am I just being too nitty about starting hands for a 6 max game or is it possible with the amount of various starting hand combinatons in PLO to just catch a run of garbage?

Just ride it out; sometimes I'll just see a flop in LP in order to give the idea that I'm not too tight, because normally what happens is that you play tight for two hours, then get a monster only to have everyone fold to you on the flop.

I've seen stretches like that.

Okay basically it's not just me then. You can have stretches of cards that just basically suck for an extended period.
