One of my many leaks is Aces against sets and silly 2 pairs. I hit situations where I think I might be up against a set, but at these limits I could also be up against something as bad as TPGK or even a flush draw. I hate laying down Aces after putting in a big PFR with them. But they're still just a pair.
I won one of these and lost the other, but results are irrelevant. Thought process is key. What's the right play in each hand?

Hand 1
Villain ($23) joined the table ~1 round ago. Hasn't done anything to get me to notice him yet. I cover.
Preflop: Folds to Villain on Button who raises to $1. SB folds. I re-raise to $3 with AA. Villain calls.
Flop: ($6.00) 26T with 2 clubs. I don't have the Ace of clubs. I bet $4. Villain mini-raises to $8. I call.
Turn:: ($22.00) 8, no club. I check intending to CRAI, villain pushes. Hmm.
Hand 2
Same table ~1.5 rounds later, different villain.
Villain ($16) has been at the table for a long while. He started with $25 and I took $10 from him on my first hand at the table. He's been bouncing between $10 and $25 for 30+ minutes. I cover.
Preflop: UTG villain limps. Folds to me in CO and I raise to $1.25 with red Aces. Villain calls.
Flop: ($2.50) J83 all Spades. Villain checks, I bet $2, villain mini-CR's to $4, I call.
Turn: ($10.50) Offsuit 9. Villain bets $4. I ...?
