Haven't played too much the last couple days. I went to a concert last night (Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace) but in the 400 hands I did play yesterday, I won another buy-in and a half. I think the one big hand was me winning a donks stack with QQ on a AQx flop and him getting all-in with A5.

In one of my last posts, I only posted the big losses from my weekend session, so here are some of the hands where I did win.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players -

SB: $147.25
BB: $88.30
Hero (UTG): $98.50
MP: $92.10
CO: $128.95
BTN: $20.70

Preflop: Hero is dealt [Qs] [Qd] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $3.50, 2 folds, BTN calls $3.50, SB folds, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($11) [Kh] [Jc] [7h] (3 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8.00, BTN folds, BB calls $8.00

Turn: ($27) [Qc] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $20.00, BB raises all-in to $76.80, Hero calls $56.80

River: ($180.60) [6h] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $180.60 ($3 Rake)

BB had [Ks] [Js] (two pair, Kings and Jacks) and LOST (-$88.30)
Hero had [Qs] [Qd] (three of a kind, Queens) and WON (+$89.30)

*******************

I guess I got a little bit lucky on this hand. But Villain in this hand is one of my "buddies". He is really loose, really agro, and really really terrible. One of the first things I do when I log on is search for him. Anyways, He just calls a PF mini-bet, then I re-raise with AK. Then he raises me back. I felt I was ahead of his range, so I pushed.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players -

SB: $99.00
BB: $31.90
UTG: $38.95
MP: $128.90
CO: $127.20
Hero (BTN): $128.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt [Ac] [Ks] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $2.00, MP calls $2.00, CO folds, Hero raises to $9.50, 3 folds, MP raises to $32.00, Hero raises all-in to $128.10, MP calls $96.10

Flop: ($259.70) [Ah] [5c] [Qs] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Turn: ($259.70) [8h] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($259.70) [4c] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $259.70 ($3 Rake)

MP had [Kc] [Kd] (a pair of Kings) and LOST (-$128.10)
Hero had [Ac] [Ks] (a pair of Aces) and WON (+$128.60)

**************************

And then finally, this fun hand against two short stacks ona really passive table. Fun fun.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players -

SB: $270.50
BB: $39.60
UTG: $117.20
MP: $18.50
Hero (CO): $141.00
BTN: $27.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt [5d] [Ad] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP calls $1.00, Hero calls $1.00, BTN calls $1.00, SB calls $0.50, BB checks

Flop: ($5) [6h] [Jd] [Qd] (5 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP bets $4.00, Hero calls $4.00, BTN calls $4.00, 2 folds

Turn: ($17) [3d] (3 Players)
MP bets all-in for $13.50, Hero calls $13.50, BTN raises all-in to $22.40, Hero calls $8.90

River: ($75.30) [8c] (3 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $75.30 ($3 Rake)

MP had [9d] [8d] (a flush, Queen high) and LOST (-$18.50)
BTN had [Kd] [7d] (a flush, King high) and LOST (-$27.40)
Hero had [5d] [Ad] (a flush, Ace high) and WON (+$44.90)

Cheers!

It was an awesome show. First time I have seen them, and I would highly recommend it.

There were a total of four bands. Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Puddle of Mudd, and Red.

Red was really really good. My buddy picked up their album a few weeks back, and it totally rocks. They sound like LInkin Park, but without the rapping.

Puddle of Mudd weren't that good, but I don't know many of their songs. 3DG was good, and BB were really good.

Didn't play much poker this weekend. We had some friends from Colorado stay at our house for the holiday weekend.

The only poker I played, was for about a half an hour on Monday to show him what this online poker thing is all about. And in that half an hour, I won $280. Ding! He was quite amazed at how easy this poker thing looks. Ha!

Here are the two big hands that I played.

I decide to just complete with my pocket 7's from the SB. Most of the time I raise here with Pocket Pairs, but I sometime just complete with the smaller PPs. BB, who is a decent regular, raises it up. The other limper calls, and I make the easy call. The rest is pretty standard I think.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players -

Hero (SB): $109.15
BB: $103.00
UTG: $55.85
MP: $99.50
CO: $66.00
BTN: $111.85

Preflop: Hero is dealt [7s] [7c] (6 Players)
2 folds, CO calls $1.00, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.50, BB raises to $4.00, CO calls $3.00, Hero calls $3.00

Flop: ($12) [Ks] [7h] [6d] (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB bets $9.00, CO folds, Hero raises to $27.00, BB calls $18.00

Turn: ($66) [Td] (2 Players)
Hero bets all-in for $78.15, BB calls all-in for $72.00
Uncalled bet of $6.15 returned to Hero

River: ($210) [Js] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $210.00 ($3 Rake)

BB had [As] [Ac] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$103.00)
Hero had [7s] [7c] (three of a kind, Sevens) and WON (+$104.00)

*********************************

Then the other big hand was this one. the button was really bad, and I was trying to play as many pots with him as possible. He was running at about 75/20. Not too much of a read on UTG, but he was running about 25/11 or so.

Both these guys played it really bad. For one, UTG raises way to little. I definitely have odds to call and hit my straight, especially when you consider the button is going to call too. And then he checks on the turn. Huh? I have no idea what he had.

What do you think of my turn play? Just push it all in (I have 78 left and the pot has 103 left in it)? Or is what I did good too? I was really hoping UTG would come along too, especially with him raising on the flop. Button has AK. LOL

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players -

SB: $119.75
BB: $180.00
UTG: $100.40
Hero (MP): $112.00
CO: $183.15
BTN: $196.75

Preflop: Hero is dealt [Kc] [Qc] (6 Players)
UTG calls $1.00, Hero raises to $4.50, CO folds, BTN calls $4.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $3.50

Flop: ($15) [Jc] [Ts] [7d] (3 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $11.00, BTN calls $11.00, UTG raises to $29.50, Hero calls $18.50, BTN calls $18.50

Turn: ($103.50) [9s] (3 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $45.00, BTN raises all-in to $162.75, UTG folds, Hero calls all-in for $33.00
Uncalled bet of $84.75 returned to BTN

River: ($259.50) [7s] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $259.50 ($3 Rake)

BTN had [Kd] [Ac] (a pair of Sevens) and LOST (-$112.00)
Hero had [Kc] [Qc] (a straight, King high) and WON (+$144.50)

There you have it. I am having Poker withdrawal, so I one of these next few night I'm going to put in a big session. I think I am up over $2000 this month. One of my best months ever.

Cheers!

May Results -

May went really well. I think it was my best month of poker ever (Last April I made $2,035, and last May I made $1,872). I don't have the exact number in front of me, but it was right around $2,100 (This is not including any rakeback).

100NL 6 max : +$2,767.85 (11,185 hands)
100NL Full : -$113.70 (254 hands)
200NL 6 max: -$541.25 (132 hands)

There were a few MTTs, but I don't have the exact numbers right now.

I'm not exactly sure how many hours I put in playing poker, but I would guess it is right around 45 hours.

I ran really hot at 100NL 6 max. I doubt I can keep that up, but it sure would be nice. Here is my stats and the graph

Image

Image

I've done a lot of data mining at Full Tilt, and there were a total of 79 people I had over 5000 hands on. I had the highest BB/100 out of all of them at 24.75 (So a ptbb/100 of 12.37)!! Woot!

So looking at that data, 2nd place in bb/100 was at 22.66 (5253 hands), and then next was 19.93 (5485 hands).

The worst BB/100 were -16.10 (5366 hands), -15.26 (5567 hands), and -12.32 (9058 hands)

The loosest of those 79 people ran at 31/19 (-2.04 bb/100) and 32/15 (+5.73 bb/100)

The nittiest were 12/8 (-13.38 bb/100) and 13/8 (+8.52 bb/100)

If anyone is curious about more stats, let me know, and I can get into more detail

June so far. Bleh.

Image

I don't know what it is about June so far. I've been getting decent hands I think, I'm just not getting paid off on any of my big hands I guess. Plus the inevitable suckouts that have started to happen again.

I played some 200NL for a little while on Saturday. I only sat at one 200NL table, and I was really only involved in one big hand. There were two loose donks on the table, and one of the them Min-raised UTG. MP raised it up to $14, and I raised it up to $50 with QQ from the button. They both called! Ack! Flop was 9 high, and they both checked to me. Pot had $153 in it, and I had $148 left in my stack, so I just pushed it in, and they both folded.

I'm back. Took a short mini-vacation last weekend, and went a good four days straight without playing poker.

My first couple days back weren't so hot, as I lost about 3 buy-ins (I'll post hands below). But the last 2 days have been good, and I am back in the black for the month. I am going to try and put in a long session either tonight or tomorrow night and I plan to win lots of money off the loose weekend players.

**************************

Button was really loose, and had raised the last 3 hands. I probably should have just folded PF (or 3-bet), and probably folded the flop. But then I picked up the Flush draw on the turn. I couldn't even push him off Top Pair no kicker, ugg.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (http://www.legopoker.com/hh)

Hero (SB): $90.00
BB: $125.15
UTG: $85.60
MP: $128.15
CO: $121.95
BTN: $79.35

Preflop: Hero is dealt [Tc] [Ac] (6 Players)
3 folds, BTN raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.00, BB folds

Flop: ($8) [Ks] [Td] [8c] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $8.00, Hero calls $8.00

Turn: ($24) [2c] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $24.00, Hero raises all-in to $78.50, BTN calls all-in for $43.85
Uncalled bet of $10.65 returned to Hero

River: ($159.70) [5d] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $159.70 ($3 Rake)

BTN had [Kh] [5h] (two pair, Kings and Fives) and WON (+$77.35)
Hero had [Tc] [Ac] (a pair of Tens) and LOST (-$79.35)

******************************

Villain is a decent TAG here. I decide to call from the BB with my suited connector, especially when the button also calls. This is a great flop for me, as I hit a pair plus a flush draw. Maybe raise more on the flop? I'm behind a set 30/70, and behind two pair 40/60, and ahead of pretty much anything else. I'm not sure what the correct play on the turn is. $65 in the pot, and I have $76 left. Any bet by me commits me, so I just pushed. I am really surprised he called with AQ there, especially after that King hits the turn.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (http://www.legopoker.com/hh)

SB: $97.50
Hero (BB): $106.50
UTG: $98.50
MP: $168.95
CO: $160.50
BTN: $166.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt [8c] [7c] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $3.50, CO folds, BTN calls $3.50, SB folds, Hero calls $2.50

Flop: ($11) [Tc] [7h] [Ac] (3 Players)
Hero checks, MP bets $7.00, BTN folds, Hero raises to $27.00, MP calls $20.00

Turn: ($65) [Kd] (2 Players)
Hero bets all-in for $76.00, MP calls $76.00

River: ($217) [4d] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $217.00 ($3 Rake)

MP had [Qh] [Ad] (a pair of Aces) and WON (+$107.50)
Hero had [8c] [7c] (a pair of Sevens) and LOST (-$106.50)

*********************************

Ive played a little bit more at 200NL, and I am actually up! I'll be playing there a little bit more in the future, especially when I can find some juicy tables.

Cheers!
