Was I stupid or unlucky? I had the current nuts on the turn and because got raised I assumed villain probably had 98xx too, though he also could have 96xx or maybe even 88xx. There are a few cards that I don't want to see on the river, any K, Q, J or T. They could give villain a better hand. Ace could give him a better hand but I think it is unlikely he has AA98.
Well, I can answer to myself that maybe it was stupid to make that final raise. I could have easily saved it. However, if I had called the re-raise on the turn and J or any other card from K to T hit on the river, it would have been hard to fold. Villain had position to me and if I check the river villain would probably bet with or without the river card.
How would you play?
btw. Obviously, I wasn't hoping to hit 2 pair when calling with A987ss.
