TT OOP common situation

Postby gsdavid » Mon May 28, 2007 12:40 pm

This is one of the situations that I come by daily but I'm not sure what the best line would be.
Preflop
Villain has 200$ and I have him covered.. He is running at 9.6/5.8/3.0 after 50 hands. Besides that i have no reads on him. I have [Th] [Td] in MP, UTG limps, i raise it to 10$ and villian calls in CO, UTG calls.

Flop
[5d] [8h] [4d] Pot: 33$
UTG checks ,I decide to bet 26$. CO is the only caller

Turn
[8s] Pot: 85$
Hero checks, villian bet 26$, hero?
How would you act if opponent was running at 20/15/3?
tnx

the way you played it hero calls and sees a river. But I much prefer bet/fold on the turn.

Against someone playing 9.6 / 5.8, I dont think youre ahead very often here. You dont have enough hands on the guy though. If he had these stats after a couple 100 hands, I would check fold the turn. Hes a set miner
