There are folks on this forum MUCH more qualified to comment on this, but here goes...

You have been taking poker seriously for just a month!!! Are you interested in gambling or learning to play poker? You may well be successful in building a BR in this manner, but I doubt seriously if you will be able to hang onto it for very long...MANY of us on this forum have made this same mistake...Take some time and read and re-read some or all of the old posts here...They are worth ALOT of money...

Take the time to learn your craft...

I don't actually think there is a problem with this if he keeps score somewhere, so that he definately never spends more than the original 2 buy-ins. There's nothing wrong with taking shots in poker... IF after that you can go back to what you were doing later. This has been a big problem of mine. Live I play either 10-20 limit or 2/5 nl. You know how hard it is to get online with and play .25-.50 no limit for me? That's why I rarely play online anymore... that and it's a pain in the ass to buy-in without netteller or firepay...

Just started working on the Party Poker monthly reload but I have been playing pretty bad. Seems like someone always has something just a little better than my hand. Is it just me or has the party skin games got a little tougher lately. Maybe I am just running bad. I know I had said I will post a few hands but I am at work and all my PT stuff is at home. I will post some soon. I want to hear some comments from you guys on how I played some hands. Well I think I have lost about $125 these past 3 days. My goal for May was to have $1k but after making the goal after 2 weeks into the month I thought maybe I could come out with $1500. Maybe it can still happen. We will see.

Glad my advice was helpfull, as for becoming a good tournament player, dont be discouraged if you arent sucessfull right away, you can play well and still not have any sucess, then all of a sudden you have a big finish. Playing Mtt's takes patience, which was to much for me. I would suggest you set aside 50 tourney buy-ins, yes it can take that long to see where you are at, I keep stats of where I place winnings buy-ins etc on a excel spreadsheet.

Been playing at PokerStars trying to get their reload bonus but it looks like I might just break even. It might have been a mistake to try for the stars bonus. First day I started playing on Stars to clear the bonus I lost -$150 right off the bat. I took like 3 bad beats around the same time since I 4 table. I had so many players chasing even after I was betting hard. It seemed that everyone was catching their cards on me. My raises were not getting any respect. I also think I might of went on tilt because I started overbetting good cards and not making any money from them. I deposited $600 into stars and now I have around $460. I never play Omaha but I gave it a try and it is a crazy game. I actually came out a winner after playing 4 hours. Omaha seems like a very good way to clear a bonus. I should be finished with the bonus tonight which is $120. I am going to play as solid as possible to at least come out with some kind of profit. I would hate to play 4 days in a row to come out a loser. I miss the party skins. I can't wait to go back to them

Hey Nato, I see you are over here on BTP now too! This is a great site! Nothing against Poker Campus because I still visit there often, but it's become less about poker and more about socializing and stuff. Keep up the good play and the posts to the journal.

You still chasing bonuses? I've been working on Crypto bonuses for the last few weeks. I cleared about $270 in bonus money from the Cryptos but lost almost $200 from play. The games are super tight and if you are running bad, it can be very miserable. I'm only going to continue playing those sites to clear the June monthly bonuses and then get off all together. Party and others are so much easier that it's not really worth the time to me.

Finally I am posting some hands. I am going to post the hands that I lost the most with. This hand was against a very loose aggressive player that was showing and calling with garbage hands. Let me know how you would have played them:
