I only put in 845 hands today but I felt like stopping to watch a movie after a nice late evening session. I am playing extremely well now at the 510 tables. It is very nice to be hitting on all cylinders and even when you get cracked on a big hand it doesn't phase you. My reads are nearly 100% dead on. I am bluffing in the right spots and picking off bluffs at a very high percentage. Limit holdem when played well is a thing of beauty.

Well after a couple of days of real shitty results do to some awful suckouts and not bad play I am finally ahead for the first day in a while. Played nearly 1500 hands today of 100 NL 5 tabling at PStars. I think I played pretty damn well but have only won 85.00 which I consider a blessing as I got no love on my sets for the entirety. I have concentrated on playing alot of smaller pots even with big hands and I think this has been working well. I have escaped big losses on quite a few hands with TPTK.

Really stunk it up in the BTP tourny. Got short stacked out of the gate and never recovered.

Only played a little serious poker today. Messed around some in a 10 NL game playing about every hand and made a couple fo dollars while having some fun. Finished shitty again in the BTP Horse tourny but I just use that as a catalysts to make some dollars elsewhere to relieve frustration

Spent some time today just watch movies, fixing to fire up another one. Watched the Kinsey report. I think that was the name of it. It was a pretty good flick.

Played 510 earlier in the day at Stars and Party. Was struggling at the party game and pretty much annihilating the stars game on one table while getting blasted on the other but managed to climb ahead overall cortesy of this hand, a nice one outer for the good guy 8-).

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with [Tc], [Th].
3 folds, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls, MP2 calls.

BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, BB calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (4.70 BB) [Ts] (3 players)
BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, BB raises, MP2 calls, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, MP2 calls.

River: (13.70 BB) [5d] (3 players)
BB bets, MP2 calls, Hero raises, BB calls, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 19.70 BB

Results in white below:
BB has Td Ks (two pair, kings and tens).
MP2 has 6s 6c (three of a kind, sixes).
Hero has Tc Th (three of a kind, tens).
Outcome: Hero wins 19.70 BB.

Played very little today as I spent most of the morning working on my moss guide. I have nearly finished with it as I only have one more family treatment to go and then I have to add a glossary but the brunt of the work is over. I am anticipating traveling to the US in mid June for about 6 or 7 weeks. Looking forward to that.

Didn't play a whole lot today as I managed to finish up my moss manual, at least the taxonomic part. I did play a little 50 NL with Briachek and opened the game up quite a bit. I have been a whole lot better in keeping pot sizes down and not calling big all in raises but this time I just pulled a bonehead move and called off my stack when it was pretty obvious I was beat. Just a knee jerk reaction without thinking it through and doing the right thing.

so that was you!

You are also the one that sucked out my AA by calling a raise and pot bet with 56off and a gutshot. You fucker!

Edit: I had already lost a buy in to a suck out by another guy and finally worked myself positive and then you do that shit to put me back negative on my last round. I was seriously quitting at my next blind and you do that shit to me.

Just so everyone can see it.

WTF man? I had seen you playing pretty poorly so far as I could see and didn't think you had me beat. I could fine with it if you had a set but 56 OFFSUIT? GUTSHOT for a pot bet on flop? I hate you. Stick to limit and out of my game.

Bri: Aw, cmon now. You had to have known you were beat there though before you called off your stack, right?

Piers: NIHAN, SIR! And thanks for the graduation wishes.

There was a method behind my madness there Bri. I called your preflop raise because I knew exactly where you were with your hand selection. I called the flop on the outside chance that you held AK and would check the turn after my flop call so that I might be able to take the pot away from you and on the slimmer chance that I would hit my gut shot and take your stack if you had a big pair.

I was playing quite a few hands but with the exception of that one bad call when I had AA and to a smaller extent when I paid that guys smallish river bet off when he river those Jacks I don't think I was playing badly at all just a loose aggressive game. The one main drawback to playing as tightly as you do is that someone like me that knows your game can cause you a lot of problems because I always know where you're at and you will have a very hard time putting me on a hand and I can always get away fairly cheaply when I know I am beat.

that's true and I'm working on mixing it up but by the way I was betting (and I thought it was you but decided not to say anything) that I wouldn't be betting AK at you like that and should have known you were down to hitting your gutshot. Listen to norton, I hold a grudge and right now I don't have very kind notes on you.
