I would shove, but that is why I play short stack.

I think this is good. Never easy to lay down AA, but with that paired board I like it, especially at $50 NL FR. Very few people at that level have the guts to minimum checkraise without a K of some sort.

Droqqa taught me to check behind on the flop with an overpair on paired high flops. I think that's a good idea. You let someone with JJ or 99 or whatever think they might be good, and you pay less to someone who has a K.

So I would prefer a check behind on the flop, but as played I think a fold is probably the way to go. But I would make a note that he did this min-cr on a scary board, and make sure he doesn't make a habit of it.

I would actually check/raise this flop, and if I got a call then, it would be easier to decide my plays later... sure, your line saves you more moneyz but it might also make your (better) hand fold...

This is bad. Call and reevaluate turn.

Thanks for the feedback so far. Heres my confusion.

I thought about checking behind on flop but felt I was giving up the hand. I would be inviting villain to bet and I would have no idea wether to call on turn or not. Would our decision to call be based on the amount of his expected turn bet? If he overbets what do we do? If he min bets what does that mean?

By betting pot I figured I either win now, get called in which case I would probably check the turn fearing the turn c/r (maybe this is the limit player in me expecting the c/c, c/r line) or he makes his move and I get away from it as I did.

I have to admit feeling utterly confused on the proper way to play this hand. I also considered calling his check raise, and then seeing what he did on turn. But I really did not want to play a big pot, which is what this was becoming, with top pr and little room for improvement.

oopss.. I though you are OOP... yeah.. check behind in that case.. that's what I'd do at least..
