It's a tool for working out whether pushing calling or folding is best with a draw on the flop.

It now factors in the chance of getting a free river card if you choose to call the flop.

It doesn't factor in big bluffs short of all-ins but to be honest with a 8+ outs draw on the flop you will have to be very deep for a simple push not to be better.

Any comments?

Can some people with far better maths skills than me (I haven't studied maths for 25 years) please check that it working properly? :)

Interesting, haven't checked the math exactly.

Aren't you just saying raise > fold > call?

nope - it's incredibly opponent and stack-dependent

just play with the variables a bit..

you can also estimate if it's best to lead out or check/take free card
